Oh, I see Fudoh updated his page and split the top list into three. I bought a scaler from him and he's been very helpful in answering any questions I've had both prior to and after the purchase. On the old list, single list, it was ranked 3rd but now it's a bit all over the place :S

I would very much like to have a Framemeister tho' but it seems it still has problems with PAL and thus can't be my all in one solution.

Still, sort of weird with the repros though, but I believe he will do a good job with those DVD tranfers. I've seen him on some AV forums, discussing Laserdisc recording and comb filters so I think he knows what he's doing.

well the DVD copies are pretty cool as they are not boots and there's some cool material on them for sure.

Well, they aren't exact copies (since there is no way to manufacturer Laserdiscs anymore) but they are just as illegitimate as his other stuff.

I guess my point was that they can't be mistaken as the original because they aren't the same format and aren't even the same product realy being in a different media. The Famicom game could get sold as original or like his Sapphire which has the whole "second print" bs.

That Sapphire repro looks apealing to me though, but i hate my economical situation.. Cant even fork up the €50 he wants for it. I couldnt justify the price that game seem to go for. I dont really mind bootlegging officially unsuported systems, if the bootlegs are high quality, and clearly shown as just that, bootlegs. Its a way for regular gamers with less money to spend, to actually play these games.

The Sapphire's are pressed, the other PC Engine games he has are not. I thought the quality was pretty darn good actually, all the paperwork is there and nicely done.

The old Sapphire boots were pressed, then BMW bought him out.  The new ones he lists now are just CDRs.
