It has been such a long time ago, it was in Arizona I believe it WAS RetroGames. I remember specifically following their instructions, and to send an Email leting them know that I was sending out my unit to get repaired.

All that I  have left now from the unit is my Super Sytem 3.0 card and my turbografx 16 system. I even paid them

That name sounds familiar.  I believe someone else had that happen too.  Someone here on the forums.  Maybe something happened to the person doing repairs?

I remember RetroGames, I bought my first turbo duo system from them back in 1999 or 2000 when I got back into turbo gaming.  It took a couple of months from the time I placed the order to when it arrived on my doorstep.  I remember calling them several times about it.

If you don't mind picking up a pc-engine cd rom2 version, I got a couple that need fixing, just haven't gotton around to them yet.  Also hitofjapon on ebay has some clean looking ones that usually just needs the middle gear cleaned, relubed or just replaced, I bought three from them and all easy fixes, maybe I was just lucky;)

Yeah, I tried getting in touch with them many times but with no success, I never heard back from them.

Thanks for the offer, but I really would like to get a TurboDuo or the CD Unit...

I think he was offering you a CD unit, but its white instead of black but will work just the same. Youre going to have a hard time finding a WORKING black cd unit for sale by itself. Thats going to be your fastest/cheapest way to get the system running is by sticking a white cd unit in what you already have.
