Hah, yeah, that was awesome! Definitely going on my to-rent list when it comes out! Don't really go to theaters very much these days.

TRASH.................................

Okay first off, we all know what a protaganist, and antaganist is, so why the hell am I going to watch, a antaganistic person, whine about
something he does.

Serioulsy give me a break.

So then Donkey Kong, decides to go and join the Military.....
how original is that? We went from Videoland ( which is somehow neglected here ), and drop right into X-box Halo world..........

This reminds me of my somebody. At one point he decided he wanted to become a boxer. He was a great student in math, but the boxing meant more to him. He associated himself, with the wrong crowd, and that in it self derailed his entire life. He served in the military ( where he also boxed ). Then he was accused of drugs, which damaged his military status, then attempted muder on his record, and then drugs while on parole, now this person is up for deportation.

..................

The reality of this movie, is using the stereotypes of videogames.
The second reality it is telling players, that they should join the military, instead of playing games. THE PLAYER IS BETTER OF BEING
SHOT AT, THEN OTHER PEOPLE.

In my area, their is a videogame store, and right next to it, the military decided to install an enlistment center. I think this is a disturbing thing, for the miltary to settle right next to a videogame store.
........................................................................................

This film is full of commercial rubbish, and junk. Do not see this film.
Hollywood can go finger itself, up the A. because teather bastards hate us, and they hate everything we represent. They even threw in a couple of comedians I like, and expect us to watch.

Hell the music is techno music, what am I sappose to be a non-heterosexual?? I know the music is a searching, life long music, but come on.

.........................................................................................

It is Disney........ Disney, hate us. Disney want us dead. To hell with Disney.

.........................................................................................

I am not going to go against the fact, that everybody displayed, seem to have some sorta race, culture tied to them. Note how the ghost-pac man has that clam voice used with that fly pig commercial.

...

I will see it but I am not going to see it. I am tied of teather, whomping all over my childhood memories, calling everything we love rubbish, and then using us to fuel them.

........

My qubertnese, is kinda rusty......... Donkey Kong went to Call of Duty #-o
Can anybody smell the verbal abuse of comeby cheapnese. Lets bring back the ole
Airplane Two joke, where you have the

.......

Betcha these hollywood bastards are going to have the characters from the movie, playable in Call of Duty.

Its easy for me to get excited for this at first but...its sort of reminding me of Japanese developed games these days where they seem to have lost any shred of balls and just try to make "Super Robot Wars" with other franchises because SRW is one of the few Japanese developed games that still reliably sells well in Japan. Its fun at first, but then you end up with stuff like Street Fighter vs Tekken and whatever that desperate as hell looking Capcom x Sega x Namco thing is, or Daytona cars in Ridge Racer...it seems awesome at first, until you realize you are basically paying for Mugen hacks. Daytona cars have no f*cking business being in Ridge Racer and Tekken is the most un-Street Fighter fighting game ever made in every way.

This might be a great movie, but it also looks like it might just go absolutely nowhere. Its hard to tell since Disney cuts all their trailers so identically, same length of "introduction", same introduction of "conflict", same introduction of "annoying/awkward/precocious character or fart joke", same timing/length of shitty pop song (often times the shitty song isn’t even in the actual movie), that they all look exactly the same. They could make Snow White look like Saving Private Ryan. I wonder if there is Final Cut plug-in that just generates these trailers from finished movies automatically...anyway, time will tell. I hope its great.

An interesting thing about this is that its so much like Roger Rabbit. The reason why Donald and Daffy where in the same scene with each other is that both studios were in such terrible straights that they had no choice but to agree to it. In the mid 80s American animation was seriously looking like it might be "over", at least for anything with a budget. The resulting RR film was so much better than it seems like it could have possibly been in a "how the f*ck did this amazing thing get made?" sort of way that it was at least partially responsible for resurecting Disney and WB...but I don't think this is going to be another one of those. Not just because CG sucks and this doesn't have Bob Hoskins, but because it doesn't seem to have much heart or vision. It reminds me of that one episode of Metalocalypse where they try to learn comedy and there is the one shitty over-referential comedian who’s entire routine is “Remember Thundercats? Remember GI Joe? Remember BMX? Remember Smurfs?” f*ck! Yes, I remember all that shit, what are you going to do with it?

All that sort of fan service, background characters, in-jokes, (in the case of anime, panty shots) is supposed to be the icing on the cake...there is supposed to BE a cake, not just a huge tub of frosting.

I recently got the AC-3 Laserdisc of Roger Rabbit. I watched it twice, once with the commentary and once without. Afterwards I realized that, while there was a lot of talent working on this movie, it wouldn't have been jack without Bob. He home runned the SHIT out of that movie.

Everyone did their job in that film. Nobody disappointed. It took FOREVER to actually get made, but in the end it was worth it.

It was the opposite of Battleship, in other words.

Watch it a 3rd time to see Jessica Rabbits vagina.  :)

I hope that Wreck-It Ralph ends up being good, because I know I am going to have to take my niece to the movie.  Hopefully they treat the source material with respect, rather than just put a few characters in the movie to make a quick buck.
