Hmm, tempting.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yeah, I do. :) I've been buying lots of TG-16 gifts for friends / family for xmas. It's gonna be a very merry turbo xmas :) Basically, nobody buys turbo stuff when I recommend titles, so I end up givin' them one as a gift. Sometimes a gag gift (i.e. Champions Forever Boxing), sometimes a rockin' good gift (DE II).

now, i just wish that folks would buy me turbo gifts for the holidays. alas, that won't happen anytime soon (they think I'm obsessed and don't want to add fuel to the fire).  :(

damn, you have real life friends who play turbo games?
i gave a friend Air Zonk for his birthday in '96.  he sold his TG16 the next year.
It hard for me to find people who even remember what a Turbo Grafx is these days.

:) Yeah, I'm an old fogie. Even my kid brother is an old fogie, now that I think about it. (It's hard to think of him as an adult :)

Tangent: the other day my wife and I were talking about "new" movies we wanted to see. well, it turned out that anything from 1992 onward was "new" for us, as if we didn't realize that 1992 was over a decade ago. Fogies, I tell you :)

Nonsense! I plan on living in 1993 ['92 for you I guess] forever! [shakes fist mightily]

I can't get into anything past the early 90's really.
