Best UK place to get a Duo-RX RGB modded
« on: June 20, 2012, 09:17:08 AM »
It's taken me this long to truly realise how crappy the picture from my Duo-RX is - any recommendations on the best place in the UK to get it RGB modded (including any necessary super-RGB colour-fixing stuff like you used to get)?

I cannot believe I am reading this...  lol.  I seem to remember you being one of the guys that demanded composite video from your retro machines.

lol.  Ive read it in a couple threads.  Though I cannot remember where.  Let us know how it turns out for ya.  I have a Duo-R that I got from doujindance that is RGB modded, but I have never used it.  Not even sure how to really.  Basically what connector to use and all.

Shame on you! I've always wanted one of his units but am not paying his current asking price.

If you have a SCART TV the connection is quite simple, but I'm assuming that you don't so your next best bet would be to use an encoder, such as the CSY-2100, to convert from RGB SCART to Component.
