He lived a long, fruitful, and inspiring life. Definitely a one-of-a-kind guy.

I loved this man.

Matlock is gone.

I hope I don't disgrace his legacy by admitting that I liked Matlock.

Matlock made TV worth watching when there were only a few channels to choose from.

My grandma and I used to watch this show as a kid.

Death is a pretty freaky thing, she's passed and he's passed.  Man, we are all gonna die.

I hear you.

Speaking of television detectives/lawyers who I miss, I can't help but think of Peter Falk. I know "Columbo" wasn't everybody's cup of tea, but I was a fan.

Oh, and Jeremy Brett (sp?) who did Sherlock Holmes, he's another casualty in the brutal career of television detectives/lawyers.

I enjoyed Andy and even enjoyed the spin off (Gomer Pyle). All the good shows at the time. There will never be TV as great at the Addams Family, The Munsters, Car 54, Mr Ed, The Monkees, Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazard, Beverly Hillbillies, Gunsmoke, Twilight Zone, Little Rascals. So many many more I'm forgetting. TV nowadays sucks compared to these classics.

Matlock was a unique detective show. I used to watch it on sat when there was NOTHING on TV.
The only thing certain in this life is death will come for us all.

Let me tell you something. Mattlock, was the most stupidest rubbish I have ever seen. It was part of the western television series. One man lawyer against criminals ( kinda like Mcguyver and Murder she wrote ).
The last thing I remember seeing was him, inside of a narc club, talking to glow girls, and then going in the parking lot of that club. He was walking around like a shivering thing.

My mystery teacher ( yes we had mystery studies, in highschool, where we studied mysteries like Clue, and so forth, it was a writing class ).  is probably sulking over his loss, right now, or saying wow..........

Did you know they had a VHS home game version of clue. Anyways he is finally slain, I can't believe even acted into his 80's.
