Goo-Gone, is a terrible remover. I thought is was okay, but I found that rubbing my thumb in the right direction works as well. Sometimes I use a little, tincy, tiny, bit of oil ( cooking oil ) from the kitchen. I know thier is a plastic safe oil like substance, but I do not have the name of it. Even I, mentioned oil, it is never a safe way to remove stickies, without damaging, so it is a slow process.

If you could clean up the back and get a print job of some sort done, I am thinking about acylic ( or something stronger, ) with a stamp method,
or iron on tee-shirt method ( which I do not think would go with plastic ),
or even a blow-dryer method ( maybe a really high end 1500 degrees dryer? That is my idea on how to "restore it" otherwise the game art is damaged.

I would subtract the cost of the game, and sell it for the instructions. That is what I do, when I damage something............like those god forsaken cardboard boxes, especially when they have special print on them.

I wouldn't give more than $21 for it (an extra buck for the case).

The damage on the back looks more Goof Off (a paint remover) than Goo Gone. Goo Gone will eventually remove paint if it's rubbed excessively, but it doesn't melt plastic.

It will etch plastic quite quickly.  I learned that the hard way when removing a label from a huey case, and it'll cloud the clear acrylic front part instantly.

I agree with Necro.  That game is only drawing a high price because of so called "Collectors" and honestly no collector will want a game in that condition.  That is a game only valued to an actually gamer.  20-25 tops.
Games currently in play:
PS3: COD Ghosts
TG16: Boxyboy

I dunno, it is a working copy of a rare game. I'd want it for my collection, because I could get it for (relatively) cheap, and it would be the legit thing. It would be a pain to get the manual later, but hey, one more check off the list.
Hey, you.

I know this is an old thread, but...

What does a complete US LoHT (mint box, mint jewel, mint manual, mint huey) go for these days?

Yes, give me the fair price HERE (at the forums) and the price that folks pay (generally) on ebay.

I'm not selling my copy, but I'm surprised this title has gone up in value.

Flare65...did you buy this game? Did you play the game?

I always like LoHT...it's like a poor man's Karnov (NES).

The last one CIC sold on eBay for $149.99.  No box.
