I suggest Dragon Ball Z if its under $20 and if you have kids. Its not all that hard, but the novelty of how the game is setup wears off after you finish it the first time. I sold mind with the spine card on these very forums not too long ago, kind of wishing I didn't. I will say this though, its definitely not your standard fighting game.

yeah both were like 105yen items for a long time.

Dear hit-japan,

Hi, I think I want to buy a few other games to combine shipping, but for some reason, the other games are $6 shipping, apart from Winds of Thunder, and this game which is $9 - is there any reason for this? And can you give me a rate (unregistered airmail) for this game and 4-7 other games (complete HuCard games)

register fee including for higher priced items. thanks

OK.  Anybody speak Engrish?

So, WoT is more expensive to ship because it's more expensive to buy, or what? :-k

My Engrish is a bit rusty.

I think maybe he means that he only ships expensive items registered mail, but Kyukyoku Tiger is more expensive and it's still unregistered anyway.  It doesn't make sense.

Where is Regal when you need him?

Incidentally, I just ordered a half-dozen CD games from them (last night) and noticed the invoice shipping came out to $24 where I was expecting $21. I messaged him, let's see where it goes.

Yeah, I've had a few issues with their shipping prices being padded out by a few dollars more than it should be. It doesn't help that the combined shipping rates that they list in their listings aren't always consistent between the same types of games.

I've noticed that their auctions tend to incur a higher shipping rate than normal, but I've been able to get around this by buying BIN items at the same time and combining shipping with the auctioned items.

I must say that generally they are pretty good, I order from them all the time and don't encounter any major problems, but it does piss me off when a listing states that shipping for one game is $6 and an extra $3 per game thereafter - but when the adjusted invoice comes in they always seem to sneak in a few extra dollars in shipping charges.

I just checked the listed shipping costs on all six games. Three of them were $6 shipping, $3 for each additional. The other three were just $6 shipping, no mention of additional games. How frustrating, you would think the extra 1-2$ would be a wash when buying a half-dozen games at a time.

Yeah, thinking about it now though, it would probably make perfect sense to him, but I doubt he'd be able to express it in a way we'd understand.

So I got a similar response when I asked about why the shipping came out higher than I'd figured it out to be:

"as described, for over $40 purcchase, we need to charge $4.5 registration fee. thanks"

I then re-checked some of his auctions and he does include a message about it, but it's buried in text within an image and honestly I missed it. I'm sure other people have done the same. Considering how uptight eBay gets about what sellers charge for shipping, I'm surprised they're OK with him adding that fee and sort of hiding it in his listings. He could modify that source image to say whatever he wants it to, effectively skirting eBay restrictions on modifying a listing.

I'm not gonna complain, since I got a decent deal on the games. :D  But I still don't like it.
