Hello,
I need help with the water stage, Stage 5. I can't get passed it ;_;
I tried over 40 times now!
Are you talking about the "freeze-flying-enemies-and-use-them-as-platforms" segment of the game?
I'll let you read my comment from the old thread termis linked to...
Despite what folks say, it is not
that difficult. Timing and rhythm go a long way. Most folks forget about the latter. "Precision Timing" is too clinical ("sterile") as a strategy and doesn't help me get into the flow of the game.
I don't know if that will make sense to you, but it is my approach to any game where challenging platforming is required.
BOTTOM LINE: This segment from Valis III is
totally fair, IMO. Yes, it is challenging, but it is fair. There are countless other games with platforming requirements that are cheap (and thus unfair)...think of the games where you can fall through "invisible" blocks that are indistinguishable from regular parts of a platform. Sheer memorization is required and I find it annoying, frustrating.
ALSO: Some of you haven't played enough Metroid (NES). It has many unforgiving "freeze-flying-enemies-and-use-them-as-platforms" segments
.
