I'm not trying to have a war with the guy or anything. I'm only mentioning this because the last time I saw the guy was when he sold me a broken example of the same thing he's selling today.
I agree with him that XRGBs are rare. Sure, they aren't as rare as other stuff, but you really do only see about a dozen of the 2s and 2+s a year on eBay, if that, and I can't find any place other than that to buy them. They've been out of production for many years now, and NCS (one of very very few English language, international sellers that ever carried them) was usually sold out on pre-orders alone. These units often go for more used than they did new because post-HDTV the demand is higher for them than it ever has been.
SuperDeadite can sometimes have a slightly myopic view of what is easy to find since he frequents the best shops on the planet on a regular basis. The other 6 billion people on Earth don't.
