Again I have no affiliation, but there's a Duo-R bundle with a spinning-but-not-reading disc drive for $183 BIN shipped (US). Someone with repair skills might be able to fix?

I saw that, and am interested, but I don't know who can repair it.

I kinda figured that if someone here bought it and planned to ship it out to someone else to repair, the savings might be a wash. This might be good for someone who knows how to repair it though.

Boxed TG16 lot w/Turbo stick, tap, two pads for $83 shipped BIN. Seller's feedback is a little iffy.

EDIT: Wow, that went quick. Did someone here grab it?

Dang never saw that one!  One of the pad still has factory protective film on.

I posted the link in the other chat, but forgot to get on this thread.  Forum members unite, we must all eventually own one of these bad boys!

This deal is for folks in the Canton, Ohio area, which has a local chain called The Exchange that relocated a store in that town. A YouTuber made a video tour and he found a "ton of TurboGrafx-16 games" (sadly we don't get a good view of them) and a TurboExpress for $100.

Not really a "good" deal, but I thought this auction was pretty cool.  Unused CD-ROM for a US TG-16 bought from TZD.

I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

This seems cheap for Vasteel. I already have it.

This listing doesn't come with the instruction manual.  Is it still considered to be a good deal without the manual?  And if so, then can a repro manual or something be made so that one wouldn't have to read an online walkthrough just to be able to play the game?

Manual doesn't really help. It is pretty straightforward for non-war sim fans. If you go for it and need help, I can scan in the Enhlish manual and post the pics online. Not a great deal without the manual, map or sleeve, but the game is worth that price to play it. Of course, so is the ridiculously cheap PCE version. The cinemas are meaningless repeated talking heads and the in-game voice descriptions of units aren't clear and don't really give any insight about what they really do. English or Japanese, you're going to have to try out each unit to figure them out.

Looks like a nice region-modded Duo R with an Ave6 pad for $275 shipped in US.

Yikes. Don't region modded Duo-R's normally sell for about a hundred dollars less?
