Cool  :D

The Dracula X review is shocking, the reviewer doesn't know what he's talking about saying "the graphics are OK", he also says the music is bland, WTF!?!

The music is fantastic in Drac X, this guy is completely daft!  Seriously, I wasn't even super familiar with the remixed tunes when I first played this game ages ago.  Sure, I had played CV's 1, 3, & 4 prior, but not enough to totally soak my mind with the music, so there was no bias on that front.  I was just blown away in general by all of the tunes!  And the gfx, good grief, what more could you want?!?

He was probably a SNERD and wanted rotating rooms and loads of reverb.

I've gotta say, for a 1994 mag, Edge really looks ahead of its time, as far as page layout and fonts go. Looks like something you would see today in a PC gamer or Game Informer mag.

"At the same preview Hudsonsoft ran a PC Engine emulator on their new machine that was powered by the RISC processor, and they managed to get their original Engine version of R-Type running in a single playfield."

WHOA!

Dammit, why oh why did the not make the PC-FX backwards compatible?

Cheers Mate, BTW I bought a Kindle recently and one of the first PDFs I stuck on it was the excellent "PC Engine Guide Book" scan you did a few years back.

It's USP when it lanched itself was a magazine for "grown up gamers" and peeps who worked in the industry.
In it's design and layout it was very forward thinking and not like any other games magazines before it.

Unfortunately I was never a big fan of the writing style of the mag, it was too serious for me and a bit eeerrr... miserable.
I much prefer the mags with quirky UK humour and overly passionate fanboy reviewers.
