I was assuming the "Ninja Masters Card" was just a piece of plastic with a download card on it. I really don't know though.

I was thinking the same thing, like a DLC card that has the redemption code hidden by pulling the tab or something.

The picture looks like a SD card with the write protect switch removed.

Then again, almost all of the NGX promo pictures are photoshop jobs, so who knows.

If they go the card route and do one game per card... Shit, N-Gage all over again! ](*,)

it doesn't look like the system has any type of wifi on it; my guess is that you buy your games online via SNKPlaymore service, download your stuff to the SD card and voila!  Maybe...

Or...you know, Neo Geo all over again. Or DS, or Vita, or whatever. This isn't a phone, btw, did you just assume it was?

I think he's talking about the fact that the N-Gage failed as a portable gaming device first, and a phone second.

I think the Neo Geo X is a neat looking device. I probably don't see myself getting one of these as I already have a home console and a good chunk of those games. I have to wonder how successful this release will be considering the fact that Neo-Geo games are readily available on various complation discs and for download.
SignofZeta: What a quintessentially PCEFX thread. Someone complains about nothing, multiple Bible-length posts discussing who's a bigger a$$hole follow. You're both pretty big a$$holes. Let's call it a tie.

...because it used one game per cart? That makes no sense. WTF does any phone have to do with this product? And what game system is primarily known for multicarts? I can think of any.

It will probably do relatively well, people think it's an official SNK product and want the Neo Neo bling.

"OOHH NOOOOESS. not a .1 millisecond delay!"

seriously? that's like one time i was at a brawl tournament and this guy claimed that the wavebird controller he was being "forced" to use was too heavy, and that's why he kept losing.
gah, i don't get it, if the difference is that small, maybe it's you, not the controller.

I bet it doesn't even support Bluetooth headphones, motion control, 3D, or NFC purchasing. What a joke.
