Hey, does music play during the credits? Can you tell if it is a new tune, or is it simply recycled (I'm dorky and like to know stuff like that)?

The credit scroll music in Violent Soldier is the same as the end music in Sinistron. The only difference is that in Violent Soldier, the music eventually stops but in Sinistron, it loops infinitely.
Kool, thanks :)

I haven't played Cybercore on the pce either, but if you thought it was a let down then should also try the X68000 version. I read its much more harder.
Yeah, the only reason I haven't checked that out is lack of time. I didn't know it was harder and had more enemies though! Very kool :)

I'm still hoping that the PCE vs TG-16 has some minor differences as well :).

i got Super Raiden in the mail today and goddamn it kicks ass.
I'm not usually a fan of verticle shooters but this one is totally boss.
I like it more than Sylphia and Soldier Blade (haven't played Hellfire, Super Star Soldier is in the mail).
It's so good i think i'll track down the Hucard or Jag version too.
What sucks is that i can't play a stage for more than a minute before the music cuts out.  according to UPS.com my new Duo should be here on Monday.  i can't wait.

You're gonna enjoy it for months. Super Raiden is so damn good that I couldn't stop playing it for 6 months straight. If you get the hucard then you must try it on the Turbo Express/GT (if you got one). I spent my lunch breaks playing Raiden on my GT and it looks amazing. Probably the only problem you'll have would be the sweaty palms.

You guys are starting to make my mouth water for a craving of Super Raiden now, maybe I should get that game soon.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I was very impressed with the PCE CD Raiden back in the day.  Somehow I didn't expect it to be as intense as the arcade version.  It didn't disappoint.

I still  remember the day I bought it.  My friend and I rode to the game store that day like we usually do.  Not sure if I was riding out there to buy Raiden specifically but that's the game I left the store with. :)  When I got back on my bike to ride home, somehow the game slipped out of my hand/jacket pocket (don't quite remember) and fell smack onto the concrete.  I'm sure you can imagine my shock. :)

It was clear that something was broken because when I picked it back up, I could hear something rattling around inside.  When I got home and inspected everything, luckily the CD was just fine.  The case however had a large crack on the front and the rattling noise was one of the CD holding "tabs" in the center that had broken off.

Other than that, it was a great gaming day!

Wow, that's wierd.  BTW, there is a menu in Violent Soldier where you can choose the difficulty(I think you just press select at the title screen).  Can anyone tell if easy in Violent Soldier is easier then Sinistron?
