« on: September 11, 2012, 03:53:11 PM »
So I want to maybe buy some stuff from YAJ and I'm looking for people's suggestions and experiences with different proxy services?

Input?

I use Celga.

The fees are supposedly higher, but their customer service is very friendly and I have never been let down by them.

They are very personable and flexible.

also their site has calculation buttons so you know before you bid how much you will pay in fees and shit.

I've used Goody several times and haven't had any issues. Their fees are easy to figure out before you buy and they do an excellent job shipping and combining multiple items. Their fees were a little lower then some of the others like shopping mall japan and celga las time I compared them.

I used Shopping Mall Japan.  Good customer service, English speaking.  But that's the only one I used.

I tried using Rinkya once and they were a bunch of dickfeelers in e-mail.   I was basically just asking about their combined shipping and warned them that I was buying something huge and would like to have some little things thrown in the box too, instead of doing some idiotic shipping.

They acted bothered by it, gave me a hassle, and said if I was that worried about saving $$, I should use boat-mail.

So I said f*ck you guys and used Celga.    They did what I asked without a single question.

I use both Celga and Goody.  I just started using Goody after finding their fees to be a tad better.  However, for questions and customer service I rate Celga a little higher.  They are really quick with responding to e-mail, or emailing you if they find out there's an issue on their end.  I sent them money through paypal to order a game off of a site.  Not even 30 minutes later they email me back saying "Sorry, but we can't order from that site." and refunded my money right away.
