Waseem was some big tymer over on those forums or something I guess. Now he's his own self appointed Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Yeah, Waseem was a pretty hardcore arcade collector for a few years there, before he got arrested.

I've been following the news stories about the trial, and the prosecution's case is pretty thin. That being said, I think his self representation is going to bite him in the ass and cost him the trial. With a good attorney, I think he would get off unless the prosecution has some piece of damning evidence that I don't know about.

Not even lawyers represent themselves. Its basically an infinitely stupid thing to do...but probably better than most court appointed defense attorneys who's job is basically to fill out a plea bargain so you can go to jail without putting up too much of a fight and slowing down the machine.

As f*cked up as Neo Geo Big Tymers are, its kind of amazing this sort of story isn't more common. There are a lot of extremely evil and %100 unrepentant f*ckers out there that collect Neo. There must be so much horrible shit we don't know about.

This guy probably thinks that the kid who got stabbed is really only testifying against him because he's jealous of his collection.

I don't get it? He was hanging out with this woman, and what? Did he made any moves on her or just decided to sit on the steps of her house or something like that. So she decideds to give a court order, that sent him to jail ( by state law, I assume ).

Am I missing something here?

Two guys, one guy who could have killed him, and the other trying to find a way out of jail,
in a room with a jury, trying to decide who and what? No lawyers invovled?
So it is a face-off then?

As the old saying goes... a person who represents themselves in court has a fool for a client.

By your standards, Waseem did nothing wrong.  Up to and including stabbing that woman and her son.  Except that you would have taken the opportunity to f*ck her dead body, which I assume Waseem skipped.

Son of Sam was a relgious man........................

When I said, I don't get it, I mean why did she put him in jail, for? It seems that he went insane, because she put him in jail in the first place. She turned him insane, from that exprience.

Also both sides seems to not using Lawyers at all.

You mean he's not openly telling how he stabbed people?  If he's innocent, what would be the purpose of withholding information?

He must fill his stab quota to prove he's hardcore enough for the neo geo.
