In French, all the systems are female because they're all a "console". The same goes for cars, "voiture (french for car)" is a feminin word so we say "une Mustang" or "une BMW".

The Neo-geo is a man. The PCE is a Geisha.
Do you even know what geisha is?

The ideal

.....................

PCE could also be PCP........the wondee drug of game systems

.........................

The PCE is soo cool, you could wear it like jewlery and have a powe pak, and portable display and still play normal.
I could carry that thing on outside in leather as well, and still look cool with a keyboard on my wrist.

Exactly. But in Quebec we also use the company name as in "a Nintendo" or "a Sega" then both are male in this case. I personnaly never used the feminine when refering to a console as i call them by their name "NES, Genesis, Saturn, TG-16 etc) and they are all masculine.

As for the translation of the add:

On the first floor, lounge style with 100% OST from the PC-Engine library (Soundchip and redbook audio)

In the basement: 4 stations with PC Engine and a Bomberman 94 tournament with prizes.

If you need translation feel free to ask.

Heh, that's too cool.  Don't forget to hang up posters advertising the event.... and take pics when you get busted by the fuzz.

That's only the basement you can see here. The first floor was crowded too and a bunch of other people were out in the street drinking and talking. I honestly didn't expect such a crowd but everything went smoothly. :)

Hey shubi, I'm glad I ran into this thread. I had removed any links to necstasy, as the last time I tried, all the links were dead! The site was down for a while, correct ? And when was it restored ?

Also, what ever happened to Squaresoft74 ?? I haven't heard from him in ages... Is he still around ?

Squaresoft74 has left the community for personnal reasons almost 2 years ago. ;(
I Pmed him a couple of times but never heard back from him since my last PM. He was really the kind of secret guy who didn't talk much about him so that's all I know. It's sad as most of the guies who designed PCE websites or forums back in the late 1990's or early 2000's have all left the scene. ;(

Oh, so he is still MIA... Hasn't been heard from again. I thought something was up, figured I would've heard from him by now. I guess it'd be a dumb question as to what kind of personal reasons exactly or ? No indication whatsoever ?

Oops, didn't mean to show that version of the picture. Flo is the guy who created Pix N Love Editions, the company that releases La Bible PC Engine. You can see me in the below section of the pic, with a beard, glasses and blue shirt.
