Ys 5 for instance, I'd like it to look, feel, & sound more like an Ys game.

Reminds me of the Rockman 7 and 8 FC projects. Of course, those are for Windows, and not the real hardware.

With Soldier Blade style graphics. DONE! Game over! Best mech game EVER! lol

That would be a fun sprite repaint job. In paper!

Maybe port them over to the arcade card instead?
