This is a really good idea.  Nearly all my RL friends don't have a clue about retro games.

So I got a pm back from necro...
To give some background, this is what I sent him for my "wish list"

"something/anything hand made and turbo inspired. Seriously, I don't care if somebody writes "bonk" on a napkin (well a bit more creative than that). Just knowing that a forum member put blood sweat and tears into it will be gift enough for me. I can buy any game I need, something handmade is a bit harder to come by and easy for the gifter."

He suggested I post this to see if anybody wants to volunteer to be my Santa in order to not stress somebody out that may not be very creative. (Which I can totally understand because even my stick figures don't look like stick figures). I don't need a masterpiece or anything, I just want to see what somebody comes up with and it will obviously be a total surprise.

So who has a creative bone in their body?

If nobody wants to, I understand and I'll provide a more traditional wish list.

Sounds Cool. I'm in.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Spenoza: The wannabe masculinity just overwhelms.

There's a dude here who makes these nice edge-lit TG16 signs...

In all seriousness, your request sounds pretty cool, but I just don't know what I would make.  I wish I hadn't gotten rid of all of my perler beads...

I've gotten a couple PMs from guys willing to give you their creative bone (tee-hee), so you're good to go.  I haven't made a selection, though, so anyone else that wants to toss their hat in the ring can send me a PM.
