According to the USPS, my loot is being held captive at the local post office. I am sending my Emancipator(tm) to rescue it.

Thank you very much Necro for organising the Secret Santa.  I already have ideas for next year.  :)

I should make it known, since my SS asked, this is where my avatar comes from:  approximately 34:00, it's the host.

Pics!

Sure!

The two cartridges at the top were on my Secret Santa list.  The remaining 8 were bonuses.  Hydlide I played as a kid.  I'm not looking forward to reliving that nightmare.  ](*,)  Knight Rider was damaged in shipping, but it's just the outer case.  Nothing a little glue won't fix.  :)  I've heard great things about XEXYZ too.

Sorry about Knight Rider.  The box I had for the 2 Secret Santa games had the extra space, and those 8 extra games were duplicates that I had picked up a while back in a NES lot, and they weren't doing anything for me.  (That why a couple of them still need to be cleaned up a bit, because I ran out of time.    ) I had seen an earlier post of yours that said that you only had about 15 games, so I thought, "What the heck.  Send 'em to FiftyQuid.  He may like 'em."  I actually haven't played all of them yet, and for the ones that I have played, it has been a while, but I do remember really enjoying Solar Jetman for sure, and I hope that you'll enjoy it as well.  Of course RC Pro Am and Mike Tyson's Punchout should be enjoyed by you, since they're both great games.  Anyway, Merry Christmas again!

FiftyQuid's new NES games....

ASIDE: Has anyone here beaten Top Gun NES? I don't think I have. I may have, but it was only once or twice, if I did. That game was challenging for me.

No worries about the Knight Rider.  You can't control the Post Office and how they handle packages.  Besides, I fixed it up with some Gorilla glue, and lacquer thinner.  Looks great now (pic forthcoming).  All 10 NES games are greatly appreciated!  My NES library has grown quite a bit.  I'll take a pic and post here as well.  :)

@esteban - The Top Gun I received is actually Top Gun: The Second Mission.  I didn't even know they made a sequel!

I have to disagree, but maybe I'm still bitter about wasting $5 to rent it for the entire weekend and not having anything to play.

Here's the 'fixed' copy of Knight Rider.  I think it came out pretty nice considering.

The bonus?  It even plays!

Here's my entire NES collection.  I'm up to 25 games.  That's more than I ever had as a kid.

Oh, and here's a little Boxing Day gift to myself.  For $99, I couldn't pass it up.  Even though the failure rate is something like 80%.  Nothing a 3 year extended warranty from Best Buy (for $30) won't fix.  8)

Not bad at all for the PS TV.  I just wish they'd give me a 48" version for $400 - 4x the area for 4x the price and they can keep the 3 extra remotes, tuners, etc.
