Badass sidescrollers on the PCE

What are the best side-scrolling action games on the PCE?  Games like Ninja Gaiden or Shatterhand/Solbrain on the NES.  Hack & slash, platformers, run & guns, etc.  I need some more non-shooters to add to my collection.

Looks like the post from my PC didnt take. Off the top of my head there's Faussette Amour, Kaze Kiri, Monster Lair, Dracula X, Bloody Wolf,  Legendary Axe, Splatterhouse, Shubibinman 3, Liquid Kids, New Adventure Island, Samurai Ghost, Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu, Tenchi Wo Kurau, Vigilante...

Don't forget about genji tsushi agedama. A neat and action loaded platformer.
It can be get also very cheap.

And legend of hero tonma. The only console port outthere.

Cross Wiber - think of it as a futuristic China Warrior and you'll enjoy it more
Makai Prince - platformerish
Mizubaku Dai Bouken - RnWaterGun and platform and what not
