sigh . . . assuming it's all on the up and up, that must be one happy buyer to have it in thier collection, and one very happy seller.  guess after everyone see that there will now be at least 2 1K + games . . .
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

or you could do what I do, buy a nice shiny japanese version with a spine card and all for $15 and if the little bit of text bugs you that much just hide a burned copy underneath the original in the case and don't tell anyone

Considering how many copies of that game popped up on the market at the same time, that is double-nuts.

Even the Japanese copies are going for $50 - $60 on ebay. Game of Japan has it much cheaper:

Damn, so close, if those last 20 bids hadn't come in, this was going to be mine!

$1,325 makes $251 look damn reasonable. o***r has won quite a few of these insane auctions recently.

Are we sure that someone didn't just post a ridiculous bid in order to f*ck with the auction?

Seems like this auction can't be correct.

What's going on man!

I don't care if some clown wants to spend that much on a game, I just hate the precedent that it sets. I also hate it when it affects the price of the Japanese copy, which has never been a rare or expensive game but seems to be jumping up in price at around the same time all this recent bullshit with the American copy started.

My Japanese copy of DH only cost me $12 from eBay and I only purchased it a few months ago. Sheesh.
