Looks like plcards ended his auction early.  Maybe eBay forced him to take it down?

Maybe...  Or maybe he took a look at the comments on the description of the new Dynastic Hero auction about shill bidding and removed his auction before more people/or ebay caught on to his practices.
All is well. :)

  What an a$$hole!  He couldn't just let the auction run it's course.  He'd rather gouge and let it sit there until some moron with too much money buys it.  I've never bought anything from PLCards and he won't be getting any of my money in the future.

  Of course, the way Turbob is appreciating in value, it probably won't be long before it actually IS worth $2000.  Probably next March or so?  ;)

NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

He probably got tired of low ball offers in his email for a buy it now. This way people won't keep messaging him with offers to end the auction early. Not saying the price is right or that it isn't gouging. Just saying it's probably best for him so he won't have to keep dealing with emailed offers.

That wouldn't work - he set it up as a BIN with an "Offer" option.  I think there was just too much heat on him with a few people talking about reporting the auction, along with the comments about shilling in the latest auction.

If you look at the feedback trail he has left, the shilling going on is disgusting...

His MAKE AN OFFER is set to automatically reject.  A $2 offer won't work.  He always sets his OFFER button up like this.  I've bought 1 think off him before, but I'll never buy from him again.

It's funny that people get busted all the time for using multiple accounts on retro gaming forums, due to IP tracking, but that eBay doesn't use the same technique to try and hamper shill bidding.

I just tried to bid $2.  It was auto-rejected as I thought.  So I sent him a nice message;

If you look at the forums on eBay, there are tons of threads about shilling and the conclusion always seems to be that it is not in eBay's best interest to stop it, so they don't...
