I find it misleading how you've been throwing around the term "$300 worth of Famicom goods", what are you trying to imply with this statement? It seems to me you know exactly what you are doing and word things very carefully, but unfortunately for you 99% of us can read between the lines.

The issue with the RAM adapter was a rare factory fault where certain adapters fitted with a specific brand of memory chip may suffer issues with a small handful of games. By your reasoning, I should be seeking refunds from any seller whom I've purchased a Game Gear from due to the shitty screen or failing caps.

Re PayPal, you DO NOT have to request a refund of the full amount, what a crock of shit. You can request a partial refund and you can choose whether to be refunded on purchase cost or shipping cost or both etc.

In my mind anyone trying to fool someone into accepting a TurboDuo (that was supposedly defective at one point) in trade for a Duo-R is a scammer. Even if you did a cap job I wouldn't consider that a even trade, and I cant imagine anyone willing to do it unless the Duo was complete in box. And you were busted as being a scammer, trying to get shit for free. It was documented. Ironically, it was you that exposed yourself by picking a fight with your victim here on this very forum.

Defective or not, you told this guy you were keeping his shit and not sending him anything back, then you gave him a link to this thread where you hoped to use the community to drag him mentally through the mud and break him. Yeah, this is what I am saying. This community is the coolest cats around. It does have it's drama mama's and braggarts and speakers, which is all cool. I bought my first famicom just last month from 80sFreak and guess what? It works fine! He packed it well and it was just like it was in the picture. It's like you realized that oh wait I've screwed myself out of the only place I can get PC Engine stuff well I guess I better go back there and slander the gypsies and it didn't work. Look just go on eBay and pay the sucker prices and then you can PayPal claim anyone who doesn't respond to your emails in 10 minutes and doesn't give you your money back when you buy something that you don't understand the risks on.
