Someone called me super sexy or a trouble maker before I made my first post. Not sure how I feel about that...

Horny?  No offense - I was just guessing based on how neccler was eyeballing you.

Two rooms down from your import room, Mati.  ;)  They were a little difficult to find since there was a small gap between the rooms, but I asked Hyperkin about it and they were happy with it.  The room seemed busy most times I walked by to check up on things.

Programs are something we tried before and yeah, it was incredibly pricey and made a huge mess of things that we had to clean up.  I think we'd consider a guide again if we could get some sponsors, but as it stands today, our main focus is on more space without breaking the piggy bank...

Later.

An accurate program online (simple page/table of information) would be the best of all worlds...of course, you need to find someone who is willing to maintain the page...

Then, simply advertising the online program (virtual info booth) with a few posters/word of mouth might be nice.

ANYWAY, MGC looks like a blast and is probably the only time I think there is life outside of East Coast

Every year we have held MGC with the express purpose of luring you to Wisconsin, Este. Every year we fail. You are giving me a complex, Estaban.

I went because it was really easy for me. A lot of the guys there live really close, or what I consider to be really close. The guy I went with visited his grandma that weekend because she was 10 minutes from the hotel.

You want to go pretty bad, more than I wanted to go. I suggest you make it a priority to go. It will be harder for you, but you want it more so JUST f*ckING GO next year, dammit. Make it happen.

Sheesh.

Just make a downloadable printable PDF. You don't have to pay to get it printed. Most people won't actually print it themselves either, they'll just read it off their phone.

I went to the website to look at the program and there really wasn't one. There was a section that looks like this:

That's a lot of boxes to click or not click. I just said, "f*ck it, I'll just wander around and find what I want. The place isn't that big." And it worked, it was fine, but I did miss things going on because random wandering doesn't find everything."

BTW, seriously, what is the deal with the podcasting!? I mean...a hallway full of loud drunk dumb-asses grouped around a mic blocking the fire exit...does that actually produce anything even remotely listenable? I guess there are all kinds of podcasts out there and I've never taken a look at the "dork orgy" genre before. It was all very new to me.

We'll always be there, Este. One year maybe it can all work out. :)

Depends which ones you're talking about - the ones in our hallway (games and beer or something?) were pissing me off because they were clogging the walking space and seemed to serve no real purpose other than to "zOMG GET DRUNK" and leave a mess (pretty sure that Chris and I out-drank them both days anyway).

The Retroids guys downstairs (Gamers Only Older, Amplified Gamers, PS Nation, etc) are actually pretty good and are worthy of the space they get.

If you just click on "Saturday" you get 19 pages (!) of stuff. An effectively designed traditional program could do the whole show in 4-8 with maps.

Yeah, those would be the guys I'm complaining about. I personally don't get how or why a group would generate podcasts from a show like this in general though, not at this SCALE I mean. Its not like it was a giant SXSW/Cannes/E3 press junket or something. Nearly everyone there is just...dudes. Not worthy of generating 400 hours of podcasts. If Slate or Marc Marron were there they'd each produce a 90 minute episode...and their shit is actually listable. :)

Those guys gave drunks a bad name.  They had their sisterwives standing there with signs and walked around with the same beer for hours.

I'm gonna start my own podcast, called Blackedout Games.  Where I get blacked out drunk and try to complete shit games.

Sounds kind of like Game Grumps....
