I was under the impression that Ys IV was relatively cheap, since I bought it for $12 on ebay back in 2010. Though now it seems the prices have gone up to $30-$40. That's strange...

Like Necro said, there's a good number of buy it now listings for $15 or less.  Either way the op is very generous for giving away a copy.
