Tom Waits - "Hell Broke Luce":

His latest album, "Bad As Me" is excellent.  There are certainly elements that remind me of "Swordfishtrombones" and "Rain Dogs" which is my favorite era of his career.

You had me at Bela Fleck.  But seriously, the silent movie treatment was far more entertaining than the other version.

The mancave video was pretty funny as well. :D

A really good comparison of all the music in all the different versions of Snatcher. MSX2 and Sega CD tend to be the best to my ears. How about you?

PC-88 is the best, by far. It is subtle, without being overbearing. It is not simply a song, but a soundscape, which nurtures an eery mood.

SegaCD is HARSH. Ouch. I like the attempt to add complexity to the composition (but, sadly, it seems a bit disjointed...I feel that simply adjusting the levels of the different instruments would help the SegaCD sound more cohesive). I think this could have been #2 if it wasn't so overbearing.

The PS1 and Sega Saturn are too bland

PCE is, sadly, pretty weak. Perhaps the worst? Or, just above the banality of PS and SS?

That leaves MSX2 as the solid #2!

UPDATE: Maybe I am being harsh on the PCE version. Upon further relistens, I kinda like it. But this still can't change its ranking.

For that particular track, I agree completely.

Have you listened to the others, though? I thought the MSX2 version of Pleasure of Tension was great, though the SegaCD one is also good.

http://news.yahoo.com/video/airline-fined-bikini-show-070000499.html

A moral outrage, I say! Shame on their Civil Aviation Administration, bunch of prudes! A Vietnamese airline was fined for providing "atypical" customer satisfaction with lovely, dancing vixens in bikinis in the middle of the flight! The first featured girl is just absolutely lovely, little shy, little kinky, and just right everywhere else! I hope the trend catches on! Funny enough, the fine comes to $960 USD when converted. Heh.
