This is awesome news, and a great relief.
I would like to buy Five Thousand of your American OEM Style HuCard Cases (after they become available) after I start getting a good return on my Nintendo and Sega Cases.
That'll probably be in late summer, or autumn.
I'll contact you through this forum, or your website (once it's up) when I have the $.
As for the thin lids, it doesn't matter to me if you include them or not, but they would, at the very least, help protect the clear clip during shipping,
and make the trays easier to bundle together.
Although, it'll probably wind up being a lot cheaper to get some paperboard/cardstock boxes made for them.
It doesn't have to be very thick or rigid (Bubble Wrap and/or Peanuts should provide adequate protection against compression);
it mostly needs to protect against Sideways/Twisting Motions from whatever else is in the shipping box with it.
If you need help raising funds, and don't want to manage every aspect of that yourself, you should check out
CrowdTilt.
CrowdTilt allows you to use it for pre-orders.
Kickstarter has a very restrictive "Rewards" system, you can't use it to do pre-orders.
If you haven't already, you might want to announce your HuCard Cases, and Website's URL, over at
TheCoverProject.net when you are ready to start Crowdfunding, and/or ready to start selling them.
EDITED TO ADD:If you'd like, I can add links that point to your online store, on the pages, on my website, where I have placeholders for the HuCard Trays.
