I was into the first Wizardry for NES, I had even bought that SirTech Guidebook for it (it had really great artwork - I regretted later selling it and the game to a game trading store though). I dunno how many hours I put into that game, but I might've gone over 100 I'd say! First I rented it and managed to beat it, but I got hooked enough to where I bought it down the road and went through it again with different character combinations, etc. I went on to buy Wizardry 5 for SNES, but man, I hated that shit and that pretty much ended my interest in series... Anyway, you gotta respect it for being a major influence on early console RPGs and I think in general. Hm, after googling, I just learned that Sir-Tech closed in 2001, eh ?
