I don't know why you can only get the discounted all games price, AFTER the games are all released.  If I wanted to pay up front and get the discounted price and receive games as they are released, that should be an option.  That kinda killed this for me.

Dag nabbit, I totally thought this was going to be a physical release like the Capcom Classics Collections on PS2/PSP!

Man, I was really looking forward to a Capcom Classics Collection Vol.3 for PS2 over the years. This kinda feels like they are just starting over and it is digital instead of physical media.

Everybody knows what we really want is the licensed out CPS1/Dash, CPS2 and other overlooked games. Games like, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, The Punisher, Aliens vs Predator, SF Alpha series, Darksalkers series (heard this is actually coming out), D&D series, and a bunch of shoot-em ups.

The only benefit of digital release is a game like The Punisher could be released.  Capcom would have no interest paying licensing costs to include this game as 1 of 20 on a disc, nor does the game command its own disc.

However, as seen with X-Men and The Simspons from Konami, you can make back your licensing fees if you release a single game like this digitally.  I hope that they continue to add online multiplayer and smooth out the graphics on these games once thought to be lost.

I am happy with Capcom releasing games like SF3: Third Strike, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, X-men Origins, and MVC 2. This is about the only thing they are doing right. Konami did alright with Ubisoft on TMNT Arcade and then the other games like: Simpsons Arcade, Contra, Super Contra, X-men, etc... Still, would be nice to see some other gems. I would love to see some arcade releases downloadable of Gradius, Sunset Riders and a few others.

It seems like they get onto something great, then do it too slow or stop. Get yo shiat together Capcom and Konami. Same goes for SNK with their very selective releases.

Why is it arcade cabinet release schedule?  This made me think that they were physically making cabs and releasing them for premium prices.  Then realize that it's not even a physical "home" release, but digital f*cking download.  Sad to say it but my brain is thinking "Hello M.A.M.E."

True, at least this may allow a younger generation to rediscover some older games.

Would be so awesome to see those arcade licensed games on a console. I'd buy 'em just to show support. Even if EMU is totally feasible.
