As have I!  These translation projects are really exciting.  I can't wait to play this and Xanadu 2 in English.

Hi guys.

Good news and bad news.

The bad news is just that nothing much has happened with AFS. Esperknight has been bounced around between a few jobs in the last couple of months and has had even less time than usual to work on things.

I don't have quite the same good excuse for not having worked on the AFS script, but I do have the good news: the Princess Crown translation project I've been working on is extremely close to being finished. The script is translated and edited, and the text is displaying in the game for all scenes as far as we've tested. There's only to get the menu working and to do a final proofread of the script, which will include making sure all the lines fit neatly in their boxes. There will probably be a play-test period, and then that's it.

Xanadu II continues, as Esperknight continues to pin down issues one after another. It really sucks how complicated this one turned out to be on the hacking side.

While I'm here, I should message Bonknuts about wrapping up Spriggan mk2 soon as well.

And that's the latest.

Thanks for the update.  I liked Odinsphere and Muramasa but never bothered to try Princess Crown.  Now I'm going to keep an eye on your project and when its done finally give the game a playthrough.

I have a Saturn and owned a copy of it for a while, but my Japanese wasn't quite good enough to keep up, and I wanted to know what was going on, so I let it drop for a while.

I never got around to picking it up.  As far as import Saturn games go, it's always been a bit on the price-y side of things.

edit:  or has it?  Ebay is saying it goes for ~$50 now, I remembered it going for ~$100.  Did the price take a hit recently?

Princess Crown should be getting cheaper. My local shop has 5 copies for 2100-2500 yen apiece depending on condition (all are complete with spines). I recently got a brand new sealed copy of the Satakore version for a mere 2300 yen at the same shop.

Heh, should've used less pronouns.  Naw, I meant Princess Crown.

You should look at successfully sold listings before asking prices.
