Welcome.
The PC-FX may get a bad rap from some gamers, but make no mistake, there is definitely plenty of fun that can be had with the system, even for Westerners. Good luck landing a deal on a system. I wouldn't get too discouraged about missing out on that one auction. Another good deal will come along eventually, maybe an even better deal. When I was first looking for a PC-FX, I came across a lot on eBay that had a system with a bunch of games, but I just barely lost it. I was really, really bummed out about it, wondering if I should have bid more. A bit later, my fiance got me my first PC-FX for my birthday, but I still didn't have many games nor could I find many good opportunities to buy games online at fair prices. A few months later, a really good PC-FX lot appeared on eBay, but it was priced too high. I patiently watched it as it got relisted time and time again, each time a little lower, and then, finally, when somebody else decided to bid on it, I made my move and won the auction (and, thankfully, the bidding didn't go higher than the previous unsold listing, which was a risk I was taking). I managed to get the most expensive, desirable games (Zenki, Zeroigar, and Chip-chan Kick) plus a bunch of other good stuff, and I resold the system (since I didn't need a second) to recoup a lot of what I spent. In retrospect, being bummed out about missing the first auction was pointless because I'm much happier that I landed that later lot.
