Forumites of the Month
« on: March 14, 2013, 05:03:42 AM »
Something I wrote up whilst staying up too late last night.  :)

Not sure if there will be more, but it's worth a shot if someone finds them entertaining.  :)  Any ideas for future 'Forumites of the week'?

Bastard of the week?
Scammer of the week/month/year?
Argument of the week?

I'd read such a thing to relive some lulz.  It'd probably have to be once a month or so, as there's really not enough great stuff happening on a weekly basis, plus you'd be bringing up stuff that's too recent or still being actively discussed.

Also - get vestcoat to do a periodic audits of other members.

Josh, why all negative categories?  We need some positive superlatives too.

I love it!
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

I VOTE YES.

However, I should note that I didn't read anything in the thread and have no idea what you are trying to do.

IGNORANCE + VOTE = POWER. BLAST PROCESSING POWER.

update: I read the HuPack post.

Hey galam, I was mainly pointing out that the actual post has mostly positive things, so if we'd want to add some others would we want to put something in negative?  I'm thinking probably not.. .Unless we get another Nazi racist guy pushing the whole chimp out thing.

I'm thinking to stay realistic on what I could most likely devote myself to would be once a month.  :)

Thanks for the input guys!!
