I doubt that anyone with a protocard is gonna feel jipped by releasing these.
Maybe, Maybe not. But we didn't want to ruin their status as a collector item for the people who helped finance our future ventures (And thank you guys again). After all, it took some serious support to pay for those 3 games on a card. (They could use a -lot- of work
With that said, everyone who has been thinking about writing a game now has actual working examples to start with.
You can look at the code, and see how to use squirrel, mix in assembler, handle sprites....heck, there is even a routine to draw to tiles in vram. There is a lot of useful information there.
Now if the guy who wrote that island adventure can use some of those tricks......
