Around $250 seems to be the going price right now. If that isn't cool with you then don't buy. Simple as that. No need to complain.

But did we even confirm 250 was what he's asking?

If he's quoting ebay, then he's certainly asking way more than $250. $250 is middle-of-the-road ebay rip-off. Anyone quoting ebay is probably looking for $300-350 (unsold BINs or the highest listing ever on pricecharting). Finally, those are normal gouging prices for used copies - no one knows what an ULTRA R@RE SEALED Bonk 3 is worth. The sky's the limit.

Vestcoat you are right on the money as far as how much he was looking to get for this game.

I figured $250 must have been a bit low. I was expecting it to be $500.

The price is not a problem, the problem is he just registered here to get big money on someone of us reselling a game he got in an awkard manner.

The last copy of this game sold on ebay for $350 and it wasn't sealed.  If this guy did indeed ask $250, he has my approval.

Evidently he asked for more then that according to the above.

Tough selling these days.  What is a fair price and who determines the value on this site?

Your only recourse these days is to attack flea markets and garage sales.  That or wait for desperation to set in on certain collectors who need cash.  No matter what we are all predictors.  Bonk 3 cd is $250?  No idea it can get that high but I am here to learn.

And so you dishonestly kept the 2nd copy instead of paying them for the double, or returning it? Heh. I'd almost care if not for the fact that TZD became a$$holes in their final days. Funny either way I suppose.

This actually happened to me with YesAsia.com and a purchase for "Magna Carta", a Korean PC game. First package got lost by USPS, so I contacted them and they sent me another one with UPS Ground which arrived on time. About a whole month later though, the USPS package mysteriously shows up on my doorstep. So what to do ?? I notify them about it and ask what would be the process to return it. I wanted them to send me a pre-paid shipment sticker or something, but they wanted me to go ahead and get it shipped myself, pay whatever, then prove what was paid to get that money paid back to me, so I never did anything. To have to drive to and from the Post Office, pay whatever, photocopy a receipt and wait for them to pay me back only the shipping cost, it just wasn't worth it... I made some effort at least. ;) If they had sent me a paid label with USPS, I wouldn't have to drive anywhere, just next time I saw the postman delivering mail, I could just hand it to him. But they didn't wanna do it that way, so too bad.

Around $250 seems to be the going price right now. If that isn't cool with you then don't buy. Simple as that. No need to complain.

Everyone is entitled to either praise OR criticize his pricing. The criticizing is the basis for haggling. You're selectively asking that people keep quiet or something, the ole "mind your own business" but only if they find the price too high. Rather unAmerican actually...

When it comes to issues like that, I will give them a chance to prepay for the label, which they have always done. A "real" up and up professional business with good customer service would never ask you to spend your own money. This has rarely happened to me though either way. Got no idea what all the circumstances surrounding this one are, but it seems dubious at best. Dont really care, just think its funny he would admit to such a tale, then ask for ebay prices to boot.

Ah OK, so that is the proper procedure. I figured as much. That was the one and only time that it happened to me, and yeah, I kept it, but I was reluctant to pay for somebody else's mistake (USPS) and it would've meant driving to and from the nearest Post Office or UPS for something that wasn't my fault. With a pre-paid USPS label, I could just hand it to the postman next time he was at my block or front door doing his mailing rounds.

Well, I guess we're not supposed to complain. Don't like his price, just take it or leave it per all that seller protectionist rhetoric. I assume we can say positive things about asking prices, just not negative (complain/criticize), that's when you're supposed to mind your own business (according to sellers, that is).

Mods. Please block the seller of this thread:

here s copy and paste of message from the seller:

I apologize but I don't accept Paypal. I will accept a money transfer via MoneyGram or Western Union. Does this work for you? I'll send you the personalized photos before payment is made, but I need you to confirm since I have other potential buyers. MG and WU charge a fee when sending so I'm willing to drop the price to 300 shipping included.

I have a fair amount of HuCards, CD's and SCD's. The ones I'm willing to sell at the moment are:

Air Zonk - used ... 30
Blazing Lazers - used ... 20
Bonk's Revenge - used ... 20
Fighting Street (CD) - new (not sealed, but never played) ... 20
Samurai Ghost - new (not sealed, but never played) ... 20

* I'm the original owner of every game. All games are the U.S. version. The used ones are complete (manual, original case, HuCard sleeve). Personalized photos will be sent as soon as we commit to a deal. Shipping is also free for these games as long as they're ordered along with Bonk 3.

* I purchased Samurai Ghost around the same time as Bonk 3. I removed the shrink wrap because it was sticky and had a few tears, but I've never played the game. The box is in mint condition.

* Fighting Street was purchased from TZD. It did not come sealed, but it is indeed new and I've never played it (I already had a copy).

Thanks for your interest!

Thanks cya..
