I own an Turbo express, battery life kinda sucks...my problem is that if I use the ac adapter, and it moves slightly, i mean even turns a 32th of an inch it looses power adn resets. anyone have this problem, and is there a fix?

Which moves slightly, the cord of the AC adaptor or your TE unit?

If you have AA batteries in the TE, does it still reset unexpectedly?

You're first I've heard with a TE that unexpectedly resets. I also own a TE and I've never had this problem before. I don't own an AC adaptor and I don't use AA batteries no more there too expensive.

Right now I'm using a third party rechargeable battery pack via power input. Works like a dream.

I think its more of the power cord moving...im talking if i just adjust the way im sitting it resets, always has since the day I bought the unit like 15 years ago ( whenever it came out ) the slightest movement even with batteries in it resets the mache. Its not a big deal because I dont use it all that much, just wondering if I was the only one.

What kind of battery do you use?

Well its not the AC adaptor, it has to be a problem with your TE since it still resets with AA batteries. Have tried openning your TE? Maybe one of the connectors is loose.

Why didn't you return the TE when you notice this problem 15 years ago?

Also, does your unit suffer from low speaker audio?

I find it hard to believe that it is the unit itself, although it could be, bateries run fine, of course until it dies, its just that the ac plug cuts in and out so its hard to know when its actualy powering the unit or not, that is until the batteries die and it gets moved. I neve brought it back because with most of my Turbo Grafix things I got them at the WAY tail end of being sold in the US so finding one was rare berng able to return it for another was even harder. It took me aover a month of going to over 30 Electronic boutiques to find the TGCD add on

. I just dug the system out of the box and ill be playing around with it more to see if i can find the problem.
