Good ole L-Dis. I still remember when I bought a new copy and popped it in for a spin right away, 'twas a good time for us shooter fans. :)

It mighta been Goof off, I have to check it again.  I thought it was just lighter fluid basically.. anyway, no big deal, I had removed the plastic case cover separately, it wasn't in that great of condition to begin with.  The manual, cd, insert, etc. were nowhere nearby and are safe.  Just gonna replace it with a generic jewel case cover.

It was indeed goof off, I will be more careful next time - the name is so similar sounding to goo gone...  Can someone give me some foolproof instructions on how to clean the white trays?  Just dish soap and water first maybe?   If I need peroxide or IPA or whatever, exactly what kind do I buy?  I will end up replacing the standard jewel case parts entirely.

Goo Gone is like my secret weapon. Slap that shit on everything. I just scrubbed my whole copy of Rule of Rose (PS2) with it, was a previous rental. Does a good job of getting label residue off paper without taking the ink with it. Looks a lot better now.

You can put goo gone on paper???  That sounds scary.

L-Dis and Bakusho Yoshimoto no Shinkigeki off ebay for a good price (only bid)

Yoshimoto is a lot of fun, I picked it up from NCSX back in the day.  I love a good wacky platformer with a lot of variety.  Not familiar with the comedians its based off of though.

For the white plastic trays use a bit of windex on a piece of magic eraser. They will look like new.

Put the tray in a zip lock back.  Fill the bag with hydrogen peroxide.  Put it in the sun for a day or two (must be direct sunlight ).  Should be back to new

I didn't know much about this one, but I watched a video and it looks pretty cool.  I love games where you program the actions ahead of time like this, at least that's what I think you do.  The guy in the video had no clue how to play it.

It's a pretty awesome puzzle game. You essentially plan a course of action by programming steps in, and then see if your crazy plan actually works.

I got all of these this week and I couldn't be happier!  I've been giddy waiting to finally play through Popful Mail!

I already have the Japanese versions of the Ys games, but I've wanted the English copies for a long time now.  Thanks to Justin's nice sale over in the Turbo Sales thread, I finally was able to get Ys III, and I've already played through it once since getting it.  I'm a little ways into Ys II at the moment as well.

Yay!

I got my Super CD Rom2 in the mail today! No cords yet though, so I can't play it... but it looks nice.

Heh.  It's probably the most expensive game I'll ever get for my Duo-R.  I was just lucky in that I had forgotten about money that was sitting in my PayPal account, which helped me pay for it.  If I had waited a week longer, I probably would have never gotten it, as I got appendicitis not long after I ordered it, and now I have medical bills to worry about before I can go back to buying stuff.

I just wish I had a good PC and a capture card, as this is a game that is sorely lacking in YouTube footage.  I see tons of Let's Plays for the Sega CD version, but hardly anything for the PCE version.

EDIT:

Welp... I beat 'em all already!  (^_^;)

I was actually just looking up screen comparisons, there are 4 versions I believe.  PC-88 1991 the orginal, then SNES, PCE - 1994 as well as the Sega CD port in 1995.  (might be one more in there)
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.
