Gotz!  It's a short but interesting game.

I've heard that but it's not short for me because I keep getting stuck! :]

Controller came in today! It's actually in better shape than advertised. It seriously looks almost brand new. Everything is tight, and it plays like a dream. Using the original PCE Duo controller vs the 6-Button RX controller makes me feel like I'm definitely not playing the games on emulator now. For some reason the controller just makes everything perfect. I'll post a pic when I get a chance.

These talks and pics of analogue controllers and 6 buttons is making me quite jealous...

I just received these but I don't think I got the time to test it out till after I'm done with Xenoblade C.X .  Dat Sim Earth will still stay wrapped up for a little longer..

Got Rainbow Islands and Fray Xak Gaiden in the mail today. Lost at least 2 and a half hours to Rainbow Islands, the game is so frustrating for me but I can't stop playing it. Fray is OK, I think with this one I liked the look and idea of it more than anything though. Even if the game was in English everything would still seem way too drawn out; I've only gotten to the second boss and I almost feel like I've spent more time sitting through dialog and scrolling through text than I have actually playing anything.

The dialog in Fray can be a little drawn out, and I wish I could skip it. It's not Right Stuff-level of complete and total incessant droning; we can all be thankful for that. I found the action stages to be enjoyable, though overall the game is (pleasantly) easy. You're more in it for the fun and colorful ride; luckily the game gets better as it goes on (it really picks up, in my opinion, by the time you start crossing the ocean floor).

Rainbow Islands is indeed fun, though I get murdered by the third world or so.

Yep, the fun graphics and similar gameplay to Valkyrie no Densetsu were what made Fray hard to resist for me, I'll stick with it and look forward to more action later in the game.

There is a certain section in Fray that I found so frustrating that I just put the disc away in a drawer away from sunlight... Maybe I am just crap at it but there is a level where a sage splits the lake apart and you get bumped into the bottom of the sea..  A section where you have to jump on falling logs.. That is really pissing me off..

Definitely, digi.  That spot is annoying as hell, watching poor little Fray fall to her doom over an over again.

Eh, you're doing better than me; I haven't even beaten the second boss yet! Like most I get frustrated when I have to do parts of a game over and over again but this one makes it worse because even though you continue on the boss you still have to go through some of the dialog and/or text before you can fight again.

Well, I didn't get all of this in one day but this is basically my xmas present to myself over the past month or two.

SuperGrafx unit that was sold as junk. Fully restored and working. I even found an original SuperGrafx power supply for it.
The Super CD-Rom 2 unit was locked away in a box for some collectard. So I decided to liberate it. I recapped it and RGB modded it. Works great with the SuperGrafx.
LAst but not least I bought myself a Memory Base 128 after reading the Hero thread from Nullity. This was brand new in the box and well, I opened it and now use it full time for backing up saves.

Cosmic Fantasy, Cosmic Fantasy 3, Cosmic Fantasy 4ch1, Cosmic Fantasy 4ch2
Y's 4: The Dawn of Y's, Popful Mail, The Legend of Xanadu, The Legend of Xanadu 2
Emerald Dragon, Wizardry 1&2, Wizardry 2&3, Wizardry 5
I really enjoyed Cosmic Fantasy 2 US version so I wanted the rest of the series. Y's 4 and the Xanadu games have translations or are being translated so I wanted those to make patching an original much simpler instead of trying from a .bin .cue from online.
Emerald Dragon and Popful Mail are memory base 128 compatible and I read good things about both so.... Wizardry 1-5 was something I found interest in after the game of the week. I found a full set from one buyer and jumped on it.

All of the repro's from Bernie and crew.
All of the SuperGrafx games original and enhanced by the SuperGrafx. <-- This was the collectard showing in me. But, Darius Plus, Battle Ace and Madō King Granzort were brand new and sealed. Once again I liberated them and they are now ready to be played once I get to them.
Last but not least the Arcade Duo card. I plan on grabbing two 6 button controllers at some point with more Arcade card games down the road.
