The original game on the promise lands CD is what looks darker. Promise lands itself looks great.

Just ordered this game, excited to compare it to the SNES game I loved BITD.

I am taking your "nothing is in Japanese" word.  I am the guy who gave up on Son Son II because it had too much Japanese in it.
