I read on the NY Times that the police were investigating the possibility of a bomb prior to the explosions.  Did anyone else read the same thing?  I've only seen that statement in the NY Times so I'm not sure how credible it is.

Man this is terrible.  I found out last night, and logged on to bbc.co.uk. All they had was a video, which I REALLY don't want to watch.
And then I found out that some jackass is cashing in on facebook with those pity stories they get you to share for likes.

I got a return text from the guy that was there.  He said he was ok and about a mile back from where the explosions went off.
