Haven't tried it. The video looks alright, but there's like a certain charm missing for me. Maybe I am just biased

I don't think you're biased....it looks kinda meh to me to. Something about the sprites (and the size of them), the background (can't make out in the video if pre-rendered CG or pixel goodness) and the overall "feel".

Is it a flash/HTML5 game available on their site or something?   And are you really only able to move right or left?  I see no real movement of the character... It looks like they're using a mouse to move the character....

If it's free, I'd play it online....... maybe..

Playfields too small from left to right considering the sprite sizes, and really, yeah it looks damn dull.
