I don't have a TE yet, but I can see how this would benefit the community. I'll lend a hand... this should help with the 3d printing process. Please let me know if you need it from any other angles (for orthographic projection).
ok heard back from the TE cover designer Buffalo. He said that the best bet for this is resin casting. Anyone got any experience with that? That would be our best bet, more accurate mold of the item since 3D printing is still in the early stages right now and won't be as accurate (could waste some initial prints).
Yes early stages 10 years from now we will be printing from home. Early as in still the beginning of the product life cycle. Wow dude you did a report on this 20 years ago....lol It's like anything else new the resolution isn't as high today because the drawback is the speed but eventually it will get better.
