Carbon fibber stick ons... How she look?
« on: July 21, 2013, 12:11:45 PM »
Behold my daily commuter and at 400,000 km I thought with a couple Guinness in me it was a good idea to try out some carbon fibre stick ons, cost me $14 for a roll and I can peel it off super easy but I just want to know how does it look? The door handles look tight i think but not sure on the gas tank lid.

I hope negative nanny zeta chimes in as I expect at least a 3 word reply :P

pS: she's a little dirty and don't mine the air vent stickers, there there to stay :)
Good or bad I can take it. (( sips wine now)) beware

Sparky I for one like it.  Everyone Knows that carbon Fiber pieces make your car go faster! Also looks like a bad ass fix on the Lid,  YOU can tell people you ripped that gas tank lid up out in the boonies. doing reverse 180's.  Wouldn't have hit the tank Lid but you were busy saving a child's life from a burning building and by the time you got back to the car it over rotated and you saved it all for a small dent in the gas Lid.

Suggestions: Pin Stripes Flame or Racing Stripe - Hood Scoop carbon fiber-ed up.

In all seriousness I like it. It gives it a bit of character.  And Cars should be fun! especial when you commute.

NAh I meant it in a good way.  Like the fix you did was way much cooler than anything else you could have done.

You have 400,000 on a Saturn?  Holy shit.

The carbon fiber looks excellent.  It blends seamlessly.  I only have one question for you, do you live in Aylmer, Quebec?  BTW, you need to add some speed holes into the hood.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

Aylmer, QC is typically the birthplace for car mods after a few pints.

No word of a lie, I once saw a guy repainting his car in his driveway with a paint roller.

That's pretty cool.  First thought was I'd do the wheels.

Second thought was how much would it cost to do the whole car?

Looks okay to me, but where's the carbon fiber truck nuts?

P.S. - I like how the wheel spokes extend onto the tire.  'Tis snazzy.
