Loved the review of that mansell game.

I don't know if senna is the best driver ever, (although he was perhaps the most memorable) but there is perhaps an interesting connection there wiht being left out of the game:

In 1993 Senna and formula 1 were in arguments - mostly over driver safety and rules - perhaps one of the reasons why he wasn't in the NA game?
fast forward 11 months to Imola and a young drivers death ( Who had gained fame in Japan I might add) Anyton spoke quite passionately about safety again, before he died in the same turn the next day. Needless to say F1 actually started worrying about safety.
Formula 1 and developers have not used his name since in a racing game. In fact the thought of using senna's name to sell a game is just unthinkable to developers and is given as the main reason why they won't.
In Japan he is sure still remembered as in Brazil.  In fact there is a hack of the mansell game where mansell is replaced by Senna.  Jibba if your an F1 fan you should check it out. It's a neat tribute. (Also the ESPN 30 for 30 Doc on Senna is a must see)

Interesting bit of history if nothing else.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

If you're taking about the documentary "Senna", then yeah, that's probably my all-time favorite documentary on any subject.

Senna's name has indeed not appeared in any games I've seen up until now.  There will be some Senna content released for Gran Turismo 6 that apparently lets you follow his career path.  That's why I said what I said in the review about Yamauchi.  He worked with Instituto Aryton Senna and with Ayrton's sister Viviane to put that Senna content into GT6 as a tribute because of how much he admired and respected him.  In Brazil they are going to release a special Senna GT6/PS3 bundle.  I'm jealous, as I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Thanks for your positive comments!

Did a short review of the excellent "Clu Clu Land" on the NES.

I have a Sega Genesis Launch-tacular episode coming down the pipe that I hope to have done by the weekend.  I haven't done anything else for the Turbo besides the Everdrive episode.  I need to change that!

It's definitely a fun game.  It's a shame that the graphics aren't a little bit nicer, but the developer wanted to cram it into 2K.
