Looks really good! The only thing I would change if it was my site are the dark blue backgrounds . My eyes don't like that color for some reason

You're talking about the color of the tiles?  I chose that color because it matched the old banner.  Now that it's gone, I can pick something else.  Got any suggestions?  Maybe grey?

Null, when I do a follow-up episode to the TG-16 launch one, you can do a guest spot if you want.  Review a couple of the games?  You'd just have to record your voice...

happened to me.  even though i don't use wordpress, a site on the server with DoxPhile had remnants of it (not even a full active install... just a few folders left behind) and that was enough for the whole server to be compromised.

And that was what cost you Google ads, eh ?

Changed the color to a darkish grey.  Thoughts?

Null you can't have ads on your site now?  Man, that would cost me LITERALLY pennies per day.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Hey, my account is barely over $40 bucks, that's something! Don't ask how long it took for that much to accumulate or how much longer it'll take before it hits $100 and can be claimed... ;)

Yeah, null got hit by Russian hackers or something and Google permanently branded him bad news and the one appeal allowed failed, so no forgiveness on Google's part... Very weird.

Yea the bold blue was a strain on my eyes. The grey looks good that you changed it to. A more pastel (softer) blue would work as well if you wanted to keep the blue theme

Yeah I'm at around $50, and that's after 2 years of YouTube videos and several months of AdSense ads on two websites.

Nah.  The blue was only there to match the blue in the Sega font that the banner used.  I like the way the grey looks.  I think it makes the color in the screenshots pop more.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Damn... I was doing something right... in 3 months I was a few bux away from $100 and it was growing steadily.

Is there no way to just create a new AdSense account using a different Google account?   Has the DoxPhile domain been blacklisted by Google?  What would happen (theoretically) if you let the domain registration lapse and someone else bought it and built a completely different site?  Would they still be blacklisted?

Looking good Jibs. Didn't realize you had your own page with sorted content along with your YT channel. Guess it's been a while since we hung out. lol.

I didn't even know you were a member here, holmes.  I've had that website for about 6 years but it always looked straight out of 1997 so I never really advertised it much.

We don't hang out anymore because I can't find a laserdisc player.

Ha, forgot about those discs you got and that one Usual Suspects LD of mine I've had since 90-something i've never watched. In the next month or 2 I'll try to host something but I know BT is wanting to do more regular meet-ups too.

That was pretty good then man! Your guerrilla marketing was doing the job in getting you hits! ;) Too bad we can't all be as awesome as GameSack Joe, the coolest dude that I know! With 100,000k+ hits on videos and his site, he must do pretty good. I forget what Aaron told me the 2 ads on the forum here make, either $100 or $1000 a month, but it pays the bills for the web service, that much was true... Heh.

Aaron would be lucky to get $100/month, so $1,000 for the year would be great.

I WOULD LOVE TO BE WRONG, of course. If he is pulling in >$100, then he deserves it.

Aaron deserves $$$$ for keeping our community together.

Yeah, it was probably $100/month and I was thinking of the yearly total >$1,000, etc. Makes more sense. And that's still great, it fully pays the web hosting bills and leaves some change for other things! Anybody would be lucky to achieve at least that.

Jabba Jibba, I finally watched some of your videos this weekend, and guess what, you got me as a subscriber.

Seeing you reacting to Neo Geo Pocket - priceless.

They tried to make me do a recap
