I get them semi-frequently, but I'm in a rural area and the roads are not great. However it is generally fixable w/o a full replacement.

This tire already had a couple patches done on it unfortunately, plus I think I drove on it a bit too long and fuxxord the sidewall.  Wound up getting a new front pair and will slap the good one on an extra rim I have to have a cheapo full sized spare tire finally.

This is why I buy that cool ass 15$/tire warranty that lasts ten years and fixes my tires of I run shit over.
