Hello everyone.

It has been a while since I have been on here, so I figured I will start to ask with a question.

As the subject stated, What would you consider to be the most important import for you to get from Japan? And Why?

I am going to exclude the obvious, Dracula X, Street Fighter 2, and for me Ninja Gaiden!

What I really want is/are Macross 2036/Lovesong and all of the cosmic fantasy games!
It is what it is and it will be what it will be!

Looking for some games, but I will prolly never find.  Sapphire, Magical Chase (US)

It really depends on what your favorite genre is, but the below is the top 10 highest rated games from PCE Daisakusen!
The ratings are on a 10-point scale, and the number at the end is the rating.

US Lords Of Thunder       9.79
JP Tengai Makyou II - Far East Of Eden - Maru / 天外魔境II 卍MARU       9.75
JP Akumajou Dracula X - Chi No Rondo / 悪魔城ドラキュラX 血の輪廻       9.72
JP Salamander / 沙羅曼蛇 (サラマンダ)       9.65
JP Soldier Blade / ソルジャーブレイド       9.58
JP Gunhed / ガンヘッド       9.58

I was fortunate enough to pick up one of the big ones on my list at the same time I got my PC Engine (Final Soldier). For me, the biggest ones not mentioned yet would be Batman and Die Hard.
I am bad and that's good. I will never be good and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.

To me, it's Spriggan since it was my first foray into import gaming. Plus the fact that game it tops! Drac X is a no brainer but I got mine second hand (cheap but gamer copy for sure). Since my Spriggan has been in my possession since '91, I feel it's the most important.

Other great imports that have special meaning are Star Parodier and the 4 Konami hu shmups.

Personally after Ys I&II I was desperate for more, so Ys IV is tops.  Also, everyone should own Dracula X already....

Tengai Makyou Fuun Kabuki Den. Because it is the greatest game ever made and makes full use of the CD format, creating an experience cart games never even approached.

It's Dracula X. Period. Everything else is secondary.
