Yeah, I recall reading an interview years ago, & he said something about how much he loved the Lava theme in Ys 3.

^ Ha! I never made the connection to Sabbath. That was a surprise, because as soon as I started the first video, it was instantly recognizable. Once the suggestion was made, it was clear that this was no coincidence.
