I just posted a video of the ending of Impossamole-

Black_Tiger, I hadn't been watching this thread but i just looked at your SGX Ghouls and Ghosts video and noticed you also had a totally awesome SMS vs Arcade comparison.  It's very nice and much appreciated.  I'm a big SMS G&G fan.  Two years ago I beat both Ghouls and Mickey Mouse Land of Illusion on the SMS in one day while I was home sick.  I felt pretty good after that.  8)

Yeah, it's actually not as slow as people think, when you really watch how slow the arcade version is. Its an accomplishment to beat any GnG on any system.

Ghouls 'N Ghosts is ridiculously easy, even in the arcade.  Ghosts 'N Goblins is ridiculously hard to the point where I actually dislike the game (the crappy controls didn't help).  Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts was also pretty hard and pretty boring.  It was slower than a senior citizen driving on Sunday.  The Genesis version of Ghouls 'N Ghosts has, BY FAR, the best controls since it allows diagonals.

Ghosts N Goblins is a lot less cheap than Ghouls N Ghosts and get's easier with skill. Like other Capcom games of the time, like Trojan, once you pass the learning curve, it's actually surprisingly easy to fly through the game.

Whenever I jump into Ghosts N Goblins after not playing for a while, I still breeze through, but every time I try Ghouls N Ghosts again, I adapt pretty quick, but still spend 3/4 of the time on the last level, learning my way through like's its R-Type. Of course, I always play the japanese versions though...

Got a fun question for y'all.

Anyone get comments from newb gamers confusing the PC Engine with a ordinary PC?

Like this:
I just got a PM from someone asking did I play Valis IV on a Gamepad or keyboard and where can he get the "PC" version from.

It's time to make a PC Engine blogumentary.

Anyone who listens to alot of J-Music, I need your input!

I'm about to start making some PC Engine VG music videos. I'm looking for suggestions of which songs go good with each of the individual games I'm about to bring up . I'm leaning more towards J-Music, so I can preserve that Japanese vibe.

> Video combining footage from Valis 3 and 4
Love Machine by Morning Musume would be perfect.

Just captured and uploaded Genpei Toumaden II for one last time: in full length beginning to end now that I got my Director's Account.

I died only once on the last boss.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that for the sake of getting new blood in here, I plugged in the www.pcenginefx.com caption in the entire video.

*Phoenix Down* (what the hell am I doing using Final Fantasy lingo on a PC Engine board??)

My first PC Engine movie in a long time.

Son Son II full game, using the code that changes the sprites.

Then there's also the response, the same game in its original form beaten by a person by the name of "ChangeV", no rivalry whatsoever.

I never thought I'd see the day I actually beat this. Did it twice in one night, the second time being when I recorded what's in the link. Once really hard and frustrating, but addicting fun once you overcome it.

Nice work. I've always wanted to play through this game since it's a version of Black Tiger, it's Capcom related and a PC Engine game. But somehow I always forget about it.

Does anyone know how involved if any Capcom was in developing it?

jo31089 has uploaded the pc engine arcade neo geo fighting games onto one vid..

The art of fighting looks pretty impressive.  I'm impressed with the way hudson soft uses the screen resolution switch to mimick the zoom in and out feature.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Dude that is so awesome, I didn't even think it was possible to do more than 3 hit combos in that game :D . This definitely makes me interested in playing that game again.

This is hilarious - Amanda's giant breast attacks are astonishingly funny!  I really need to keep an eye out for some Games Express cheesecake.
