I'll be heading down to People Play Games in Chicago on Saturday - last time I was there they had a ton of  loose SMS manuals so I'll check it out for you. If you want to set a price limit per piece I can just pick them up and ship them out to you at cost. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I will say - you're going to have a hard time with a couple of those, namely Buster Douglas. Haven't seen a loose manual sale for that thing in about 3 years.

I have manuals for Gangster Town, Ghost House, and Maze Hunter 3D in decent condition. Also a fair Light Phaser manual.

Thanks guys, pms incoming!

Yea, I suspect I'll never find a Buster Douglas manual, and that's ok.  In fact, I'm ok just having the games and if I can find missing manuals down the line, even better.

I only just recently thought to make a post like this as I've finished my US SMS collection, except for Sonic.  I have a complete Sonic on it's way now from merry ole England (where it was cheaper than what US sellers wanted) and since it's identical in every way to the US version except for that UPC sticker, it will suit me perfectly.  Essentially completing my SMS collection after about 15 years!

Now the big question - just how bad does Sonic play on Master System??

Congrats on the complete set - I finished mine last year (after a 10 year quest with a 5 year hiatus in the middle, heh). I'm scooping up the re-release variants and then calling it a day. Some of the more hardcore guys go after the printing errors and the "Sega for the 90's" sticker versions but that's just overkill.

I also have a PAL Sonic - I bid $750 for a U.S. copy on eBay 2 years ago and got blown out of the water on that auction (I want to say it finished north of $1200), then just said f*ck it. Plus, to Dragonmaster Dan's point - it's stupidly easy to spoof that sticker.

Sonic on the SMS isn't bad at all...It's obviously gimped from the Genesis version but there's enough differences to make it worth giving it a run-through. It has a Yuzo Koshiro soundtrack, to boot.

No wildfruit, just looking for those in my list to complete my copies.  Well that's not entirely true - I'd like to find manuals for the rarer titles like JBD Knockout Boxing, Alex Kidd in Shinobi World and Psycho Fox.  But if you (or anyone) has any on the list -rare or common - I'd be happy to offer a fair price for them plus shipping.
